 Head Coach: Phil Price III Assistant Coach: Phil Price Jr. Assistant Coach: Sean Chenevert Assistant Coach: Joe Whitney The Worcester Heat 9U coaching staff will be focused on development first, fun second and win/loses third. It's the goal of this introductory program to teach young baseball players the basics of the game. Players on the 9U team will be exposed to many positions throughout the year to learn how to be an all around, complete baseball player. Players will be encouraged to become independent in their exploration of the game and to be held accountable for their actions through the process. They will be taught the proper mechanics and techniques of hitting, fielding, pitching and base running. Players will also be enrolled in Strength & Conditioning Training to help teach them how to use their growing bodies properly.
